Born in Toronto, Ontario, Susan Roman has spent most of her adult life immersed in the vibrant world of animation—a dream come true for someone who has always loved storytelling through voice. Her career spans decades and includes roles in some of the most beloved animated series and films of all time.

Susan is best known as the voice of Sailor Jupiter in the original North American dub of Sailor Moon, a role that helped define a generation of anime fans. She also voiced Champ Bear in Care Bears, Melissa Raccoon in The Raccoons, Sara Lynn and Eddie in Fisher-Price Little People, the Berry Princess in Strawberry Shortcake, Cucumber in Richard Scarry, and Tikka in Barbie as the Island Princess.

Her anime credits include Judy Tate in Beyblade and Akira in Bakugan, and she voiced Snowy the dog in the internationally acclaimed series The Adventures of TinTin. In a departure from children’s animation, Susan portrayed Angel—the speaking voice of Debbie Harry—in the cult classic Rock & Rule, and played The Girl in the Harry Canyon sequence of Heavy Metal.
