Born in Toronto, Ontario, Katie Griffin has built a remarkable career in both live-action and voice acting, captivating audiences since her debut as Dede in Are You Afraid of the Dark – Tale of the Prom Queen in 1992. A graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, Katie’s talent and versatility have earned her roles across a wide spectrum of genres, from gritty dramas to animated favorites.

Katie is best known as the voice of Sailor Mars in the original North American dub of Sailor Moon, a role that helped shape the anime landscape for a generation of fans. Her voice work includes Ruby in Max and Ruby, Alex in Totally Spies, and Sam Sparks in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, a performance that earned her a Canadian Screen Award nomination.

Her recent projects include Go Dog, Go! and Agent Binky: Pets of the Universe, as well as the CBC Gem series The Gangnam Project. She stars as Scary Girl (Lauren) in the newest season of Total Drama Island, and was nominated for a 2024 ACTRA Award for her role in the upcoming animated series Superbuns.
